This post is created to give the latest news about Dota 6.60 AI Map. As of now Dota 6.60 AI Plus is not yet released. But the Dota 6.59 AI Map is now on air. You can check it here :). I will update this post soon as BuffMePlz (BMP) release updates about Dota Allstars 6.60 AI.

Been a while since any sort of update or progress, I guess. Life's been busy, and that usually takes first priority in...well...life. =PDota 6.60 AI Plus - Update 2 by BuffMePlz:-
But I'm still here, and working on the map when I can. As for Dota 6.60, sounds like things are going to be overhauled like crazy. I think I'd prefer to try to finish isolating the script and then integrate it with the Dota Allstars 6.60 map, instead of the normal porting. This will probably take a lot longer, but it should be quite a bit more stable. There's a lot of legacy code that's being carried from version to version that would need to be cropped out, but it would probably be more effective to get the script into the new version.
We'll see. Doing it this way will make a cleaner version, but will take a lot longer.
Anyway, about AI for Dota 6.60, since I know that's what everyone wants to know about...Dota 6.60 AI will take some time as Dota 6.60 took BMP needs some time to make a good AI Map for 6.60 so I suggest you guys to wait. You can support BuffMePlz by waiting.. Good luck, BuffMePlz hope you will get success in porting a new AI of Dota 6.60 ;).
My original plan was to finish isolating the original script, update and rewrite it, and then release on whatever version would been out by then (I'm about 110% sure that it will be newer than 6.60 at that point). However, if it seems like demand is high enough and people are willing to play against AI bots that don't make use of the new features or abilities (Razor's AI, for example, will be more or less completely broken), then I can continue to back-port features, at least for the purpose of trying new items and builds on something.
Problem is, this back-porting will take a long, long time (given the amount of changes, I'd say at least two months), time that I can spend furthering development on the script itself, so it's a significant fork in the road.
Pretty much the choices are:
1. Back-port features, get some bots that don't work all that well, can have training with new features in ~two months
2. Update AI, get bots that (hopefully) work with all new features, can have training with new features in ~long time
3. Wait for somebody else to write an AI map (I think Harreke was working on one), can have training in ~who knows

my 5 cents are that people don't care if Razor AI uses his skills or not but they what to try themselves the new Razor against AI as I do.
So for the players out there the first choice with the back-porting would be awesome if nobody else writes an AI map.

i think is much harder because ice frog have change the whole tavern so the ai script must be rewrite to adjust all the hero in the tavern, and plus the new hero it's a bit complicated for the ai like tauren with his ancestral spirit

You guys are so funny. First of all, the AI map will never be 6.60, seeing Patch 1.24 pretty much fucked all maps but 5.59d SO, you gotta wait, also, adding an AI to a hero like TC (for an example) with ancestral spirit, if you want him to use it correctly, WILL take time.

Hi... Well I'm very sorry for those ignorant trash-talkers who are very impatient. I understand why you are taking so long because I'm a programmer myself. And there are so many updates and changelogs that were made in 6.60. so it will really take a long tim to update. And don't say to BMP that it was "just" a bot if you yourself can't make an AI, so you'd better understand the condition that BMP is going into. After the 6.60 AI, I'm assuring that the next AI updates will be released fast.
i juz got da info...the rumours said dat the 6.60 ai will not release as they're jump to 6.61 map soon...so the next ai map will be 6.61 ai after da release of 6.61map in the end of dis year...
we really hope you could do a good job by releasing the a.i version. we are counting on you!
