Warcraft 3 TFT 1.25b Standalone & Upgrade Patch Download. Blizzard released a new patch for Warcraft 3 after an year. The new update brings couple of changes to the races and brings minor improvements to hex. There are several more additions done in this update, most notably the share hack fix. Warcraft 1.25b patch is available on all official Battle.net realms along with offline patch standalone/upgrade files.If you are unable to upgrade to Warcraft 3 TFT/ROC 1.25b patch via Battle.net auto-update, you may use offline upgrade files below, or simply use Warcraft 1.25b Switcher.
Warcraft 3 1.25b Patch Download and Install Guide:
1. Download Warcraft 3 TFT/ROC v1.25b Patch update from below:
Windows:
• Standalone Patch (recommended):
• Upgrade Patch:- Download this file if you are updating from an old version. (For example: 1.20e)
War3TFT_125b_English.exe (mirror 1)
War3TFT_125b_English.exe (mirror 2)
Mac:- Download this file if you have Warcraft 1.24e patch installed.
War3TFT 124e_125b English.exe (mirror 1)
War3TFT 124e_125b English.exe (mirror 2)
• Standalone Patch:
- This will upgrade your Warcraft 3 Mac to 1.25b from any previous version.
War3TFT_1xx-125b_English.zip (mirror 1)
2. After downloading the right update, Install it.
3. Your Warcraft 3 will be patched to v1.25b (1.25.1.6397)
Notes:
• If you are getting "Warcraft/InstallPath" error while upgrading. You need to Fix Warcraft 3 Registry.
• You can use Warcraft 1.25b Patch Switcher, if you have previously v1.24e installed (only for Windows users).
• Older version replays won't work in this patch.
• If you are getting any errors while updating, please submit a comment!
The standalone/upgrade patch is not released yet. Although the version switcher and battle.net auto-update is available.

FIXES
- Fixed an issue where players were able to ally with opponents when
alliances were locked ("share hack").
- A gold exploit with buildings has been fixed.
- Widescreen (stretched) resolutions should now be available in the Video options.
- Scroll of Town Portal will no longer be consumed when casting fails
when used at the same time that your Hero is Hexed.
- You can now purchase items from shops while Hexed.
- Hex will no longer extend the duration of Metamorphosis.
- Hex will no longer disable mana or health regeneration of Heroes.
- Wisps Detonate ability will no longer drain mana from Heroes while under
the effects of Potion of Invulnerability.
- Warcraft III will now write its registry keys on launch.
BALANCE CHANGES
Humans
- Improved Masonry Upgrade health boost decreased from 20% to 10% for all 3 levels
- Siege Engine Level increased from 2 to 3
- Rifleman HP increased from 505 to 535
Orcs
- Blade master Wind Walk duration reduced from 20/40/60 to 20/35/50
- Raider Ensnare Cooldown increased from 12 to 16
- Spirit Wolf Rank 1 Wolf Level decreased from 3 to 2
Night Elves
- Warden Shadow Strike mana cost increased from 65 to 75
- Druid of the Talon Faerie Fire duration decreased from 120 to 90
Items
- Ivory Tower gold cost increased from 30 to 40.
- Tome of Experience now gives Heroes 100 experience points, down from 150
- Orb of Venom poison duration decreased from 8 to 6
NOTE: Replays are incompatible between major game revisions. (1.24e replays
cannot be viewed with the 1.25 version of Warcraft III.)
Please Note: - Warcraft III will now write its registry keys on launch.
Update your Warcraft III to 1.25 and you're dead!

how can i fix it ??
I was able to update it successfully. But when i tried to play a game of dota, it doesn't show the following maps i have:

and Dota 6.71a and b
Is there a fix for this or Do the new maps' compatibility play a role in this version?

I also got the problem were it simply said that it failed, and it was not possible to update it from b.net. Confused as i was (I used europe northrend gateway) i simply tried to change the gateway and randomly went with an US gateway and it worked to auto update right away! I then switched and logged in on the europe gateway. no idea why this worked, it just did.

ReplyDeleteIf you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 and you installed W3 TFT (not copy folder) and while patching you're getting errors like "unable to create..." try to launch the patch as administrator. Worked for me!
