How to switch between Warcraft 1.23 to Warcraft 1.24 Patch using Warcraft Version Switcher (Step by Step Guide):
- Download Warcraft version switcher from the link above.
- Extract Warcraft_Version_Switcher_by_Dota-Utilities.rar using WinRar.
- Open the folder where you've extracted it.
- Now open Wvs.exe
- Click the 4th button from the left side which is Options Button.
- Enter you Warcraft 3 Path like "c:\Program Files\Warcraft 3" at the bottom text box of the Options Window.
- Close Option Window and Now click Switch Version Button (1st Button).
- Double Click the version you want to switch. Warcraft 1.23 Or Warcraft 1.24
- Version will be switched.
- Enjoy and don't forget to visit DotA-Utilities.com

i tried this and its working perfectly, congratulations! but now i can't go back to 1.23 and play my maps such as dota!!!!! wtf you did?? the inverse way is not enabled?? fix this fast because i can't play my dota anymore!!

ReplyDeleteGood to see that you have installed 1.24 patch. If you want to revert back to 1.23 Patch. Re-open Warcraft Version Switcher click switch version button and Double click "TFT Version 1.23". Now your patch is reverted back to Warcraft 1.23.

thanks for pauing attention to me and posting the solution but its a few obvious and of course its the first thing i tried. thanks god i had the old version of this patch switcher and i got the file of the 1.23 version from there. this same file in this version you're posting to download is corrupted. you have to get from the old switch patch. i hope this helps anyone with the same problem.

btw, after downgrade in 1.23, i try to get again the patch 1.24 via bnet, and now it's doesnt work, some files has now problems. Look :

ReplyDeleteu can put all the previous versions inside(Eg. 1.21 , 1.22). n after revert into 1.23 all u need 2do is just revert it into 1.24 using this switcher n not updating it via bnet (as the patch file is from another cd key) unless u save all the patch file yourself

And for the last one... Do you start version switcher directly from WinRar (or any other)? That may cause the error... First extract all and then try again...

ERROR: File not found, wvs\help.dat

seems like some files are missing, hm? try to re-install the switcher and if it doesn't work, re-download the stuff and then try again. that's the only thing i can do for you.
