i think he whant 2 prove 4 his brother tht his sharingan can see inside itachi genjustu and make wht sasuke saw in his vison into reality
he goes 7 tails .... gets up to 8 tails .... then his dad ( the 4TH ) stops him from taking the seal off to go 9 tails. then he comes out and kills the last pain. but that wont happen for a while ... lots of fillers and of course itachi and sasuke. then fillers then pain going to konoha and destroying it and then naruto learning sage mode .... all in all it will take a while!
