Dota and Warcraft 3 @ Dreamhack Summer

With Starcraft making a comeback, Dreamhack announces its list of games for the upcoming Summer event.

Dreamhack is keeping its tradition of hosting both a Dota and a Warcraft 3 tournament for their upcoming Summer event. They also announced the return of Starcraft after excluding it at their last event. DreamHack Summer 2009 will take place in Jönköping, Sweden from 13 to 16 of July.

The prize money for the tournaments have increased after last year's Winter event. Dota, Warcraft 3 and Starcraft will each feature a total of 50.000SEK, 4.600€ in prize. The previous Dota tournament had 43.000SEK and the Warcraft3 tournament had 33.000SEK in prize.

There is currently no information on which version will be used for Dota or what the maps for Warcraft 3 will be and the tournament format. Information regarding the Counter-Strike tournament will be released later.

MeetYourMakers and Fredrik 'KnOfF' Knopf can look forward to defending their title.
